“The Master is here and calls for You”

— John 11:28

Do you have a stirring within your heart like a tiny whispering sound, which beckons you to leave all and follow the Call from God to be all for him? You may have had several occasions when the ‘Divine Pull’ has echoed within you. God is a persistent Lover and will call you at any time whether you are busy at work, cleaning your house or apartment, when you start retiring for the night or maybe you have slipped in quietly to a Church to be in the presence within the Tabernacle.

The contemplative life is a challenge to let everything go and be a gentle force of praise, adoration, petition and forgiveness. It is living within a community of women who are committed and, yes, very human with faults and limitations. St Augustine’s rule bids us to live with “one mind and one heart in God”, just as the first Christians did after the Resurrection of Jesus.

To continue our life of prayer we need generous young women to say “yes” to God as Our Blessed Mother did at the Annunciation. To live in the house of God is a wonderful privilege. To pray for the needs of all women and men is our special vocation through chanting the Liturgy of the hours, having an entire hour dedicated to Mary’s Rosary with Eucharistic adoration and of primary importance, Daily Mass.

If you are between the ages of 25 and 45, and have no one dependent on you, are in good physical and mental health, and have an average intelligence and feel called to a contemplative life-style in our Dominican Cloistered Monastery then write to:
